Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent industry funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices and career seekers in the building and construction industry within Queensland.
CSQ subsidised training programs provide eligible workers or an unemployed eligible worker in the industry and those industry workers currently out of work or between jobs with flexible solutions to update their skills and knowledge in specific and targeted areas.
The programs provide opportunities to progress careers and move within the industry as well as enhance individual efficiency and business productivity.
As a CSQ registered training supplier, we are providing subsidised training supported by CSQ funding programmes: Short Courses - Civil Construction/Apprentice Advance Plus & Short Courses - General Construction/Apprentice Advance Plus for the 2021-2022 funding period. Funding periods commence on the 1st October and finalise on the 30th September. All enrolling under a CSQ programme must complete training by the end of the funding period to receive their funded contribution.
Funding is available to eliglible workers or an unemployed eligible worker who are currently working in the building and construction industry or have previously worked within the industry (within the last 4 years).
Funding is available to eligible or an unemployed eligible Apprentices and Trainees during their apprenticeship or traineeship and in the first year following completion of their apprenticeship or traineeship to undertake further skills training, to assist them to be competitive in the market and gain licences essential to their future work.
